Why
build an excellent credit?
Even
if you have had a bad credit history before or in search of
ways to start building an excellent credit, whether you are
either of the two, the chance ob obtaining an excellent credit
is the same. What is nice about the credit card business is
that they all give us the equal opportunity to start anew.
What
is termed as an excellent credit? An excellent credit is
having a flawless or a nearly flawless payment history for an
adequate period of time preferably, the most recent records
should attest to that. To
have a good payment history, you must be diligent in paying
your monthly bills as payments are reported as late if they
reach 30 days unpaid. It is much advised though to pay your
bills earlier to avoid fees and interest but paying within the
30 days allowance would still consider you as an excellent
payer and would not reflect badly on your credit. Being late
on your payments and not paying them is a surefire way to
brand you as delinquent. So, better avoid that.
You might then ask why bother maintaining an excellent
credit; it is because having a credit that is above reproach
can do you good. By
having an outstanding credit, you’ll not only be saved from
delinquency fees and interests, you’ll also get the priority
in terms of privileges such 0% interest, low APR’s, high
credit limits, loans and more.
These privileges are only offered to those individuals
who take the pains in maintaining a credit that is impeccable
and above reproach.
